The sex scene talking about doing it in the closet like traveling is so erotic. Crashing a tech conference was considered fun? Lame.. Somehow Reitman didn't pull off whatever he was trying to, in my view. Fingally seeing Avatar on blu-ray changed my mind after about 20 minutes, although I still champion District 9 for doing so much with so little.rob humanickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03393593631883026810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38035217.post-87245017015275422742011-05-30T16:18:17.160-04:002011-05-30T16:18:17.160-04:00Avatar wasn't as good a movie as Disctrict 9, ...Avatar wasn't as good a movie as Disctrict 9, but if you're seriously refusing to acknowledge its superiour visual effects then you need to have your head examined.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38035217.post-14395845731398388292010-05-21T17:58:50.942-04:002010-05-21T17:58:50.942-04:00@ Jim: The only pain that was involved was that co...@ Jim: The only pain that was involved was that coming directly from the screen; only Carey Mulligan was able to translate any of that featherweight screenwriting into legitimate emotion (the cast entire was fine, but only she stood out, having so little to work with).
